Dear Diary,

I believe that if you truly like or love someone, you would turn your words into actions. You would put a whole lot of effort to get that person’s attention and eventually make sacrifices for them. If you truly love someone, you just wouldn’t tell them that, but you will be eager to show them that you really love them.

Never settle. You may think that you aren’t gorgeous, too clumsy, not too smart and have many little insecurities. Time will come that this one special person will love you for who you are. You are beautiful, in your own special way, so never lower your standards. I promise, you’ll be happy someday.

A girl should be respected, not because she looks a certain way. Get to know a girl by her personality and not by how she looks or by her choice of clothes. Always give her the chance to show who she is through how she talks and acts.

Remember, whenever you judge a girl by her looks, you somehow end up losing the chance to meet an amazing person.

I love it when that person I love gives attention even to the smallest details. I find it cute that they know all of the little things about you, the things you like and hate and those small random facts about you. It’s nice that they don’t just actually pay attention to the big stuff, but they actually know you.

Stop worrying about your make-up, if your hair is right, or how many calories the burger you’re eating has. One day you’ll find a guy that won’t care about all of that. You are perfect in someone else’s eyes. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Time will come for you. You just have to wait.
